On Friday, October 10, 2025, C4K hosted our fall Youth Project Pitch Night at the CODE Building. Together with their mentors, youth presented their STEAM-powered project ideas to a supportive audience of peers, families, and mentors.
Each youth member shared the inspiration behind their idea along with the materials and technology they’ll use to bring it to life. This semester’s projects showcased a wide range of ideas and interests, including:
- Roblox horror game complete with jump scares, nighttime settings, and multiple endings
- A remote-controlled robot with a camera, connected to a phone for real-time driving and viewing
- VR Roblox game built using Obby models
- Holiday House, a dream mansion with 3D printed furniture, sewn curtains and bedding, and hand-knitted blankets
Each project draws on one or more of the seven main disciplines available for exploration at the Clubhouse: Electronics/Robotics, Fabrication, Graphic Design, Photography/Videography, Audio Production, Coding/Game Development, and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality.
We can’t wait to see how these projects evolve over the coming weeks and to celebrate the final creations at our Youth Showcase. With their project plans in place, our members will spend the next eight weeks experimenting through trial and error and bringing their ideas to life.
