We are looking forward to an exciting and event filled Summer 2022!
After a one week break (June 13th-June 17th), the Clubhouse will be open on a slightly modified schedule staring June 20th, 3:00PM-7:00PM, Monday through Friday. 1:1 Mentoring sessions will continue as scheduled unless advised otherwise.
There will be a number of workshops offered during Clubhouse time throughout the Summer. These include a series presented by Biomedical Engineering students from UVA and I+DEAL workshops with former C4K STEAM Coordinator, Rachel Gibson.
We are tremendously excited about the slate of STEAM-powered camps we have scheduled. Members will get to engage in a variety of fun activities and learn side-by-side with our community partners. Most camps end when the Clubhouse opens so members can stick around to keep exploring, learning, and creating.

Get creative with audio production using the sounds you hear walking in nature around the IX Art Park.
App Design Journey with WillowTree
July 11th – July 15th, 1:00PM – 3:00PM at C4K
Work with local professionals to learn the development process and design a mobile app.
Rhyme & Design
July 18th – July 22nd, 1:00PM – 3:00PM at C4K
Use hip-hop, multimedia, and entrepreneurial thinking to develop branding concepts for a local organization.
Build an Internet
August 1st – August 5th, 1:00PM – 3:00PM at C4K
Learn about the technologies that came together to make today’s internet. Then, build an internet from scratch.
Filmmaking with Light House Studio
