A tremendous amount of progress has been made on our Best Buy Teen Tech Center renovation since the construction started on September 13th, 2021. The walls have come down to accommodate a open, flexible space for learning 21st Century Skills and building brighter futures with our members.
Renovating in an occupied, 100 year old building has had its complications but demolition, wall framing, and rough-ins are all complete. The necessary inspection passed so drywall will be starting within the week. We are thankful for the determination of Alexander Nicholson’s team to keep the schedule on track for an early February, 2022 return.
We are also thankful for the patience and support of our members, volunteers, and supporters. Engaging in programming while we’re away from the Clubhouse has been a challenge on top of challenge. While we’ve been having fun in the temporary space generously donated by WillowTree, we can’t wait to get back!
